WINDRUSH: MORE THAN A GENERATION

To celebrate and highlight the stories of those who were a part of this generation, we sat down with Glenda Caesar, a Windrush Campaigner and victim. Glenda shares her earliest memories of growing up in 1960’s England speaking of fond memories of Notting Hill Carnival to difficulties facing racism from the Teddy Boys. Like many Windrush immigrants, Glenda has had painful experiences regarding the Windrush Scandal. Yet, she continues to fight for those mistreated and in doing so, encourages us to do the same. Watch part one as we get into her life experiences and story.
